The Talbot County Economic Development Commission is now accepting nominations for its 2019-2020 Community Impact Awards.
Winners will be announced at the 12th Annual Talbot County Business Appreciation Breakfast to be held on Friday, April 24, 2020, at 8:30 a.m. at The Milestone Event Center in Easton. Nominations may be made for businesses, non-profit organizations, community projects or initiatives, and individuals.
The event is hosted by the Talbot County Department of Economic Development and Tourism in partnership with the Talbot County Economic Development Commission. The Community Impact Awards recognize outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals that have made a significant impact in Talbot County.
“This is an event we look forward to every year,” says Talbot County Council President Corey Pack, “Our Talbot County businesses and citizens are doing great things that make a difference in our community. This is just a small way of saying thank you.”
“Each year, the Talbot County Economic Development Commission honors those businesses and individuals who have made a positive impact on the Talbot County economy,” he continues. “I love learning about all of the fascinating businesses and phenomenal projects going on in Talbot County.”
