Maryland Commerce Secretary Harry Coker Jr. brought his statewide listening tour to Talbot County, making a stop at the Avalon Theatre, one of the county’s most powerful examples of how the arts drive economic development.
Since taking office in February 2025, Coker has visited counties across Maryland to hear directly from local leaders. In Talbot County, he received a focused look at high-impact projects shaping the local economy, including the new UM Shore Regional Medical Center, the F3 Tech Biotech Manufacturing Facility, and the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
